Choose from a wide variety of HIDE Drain Covers to suit popular stone and tile thicknesses! These drain covers have been created to replace the need to install unsightly drainage grates around your alfresco areas, gardens, patios and walkways.

HIDE Drain Covers can be used in most outdoor areas and are compatible with a standard surface water 90mm or 100mm drainage network pipe. They provide long-term durability and improved visual appeal.

Drain Covers allow your chosen landscape material to seamlessly conceal the drain access by eliminating standard metal or plastic grates. They sit over the drain, blending into the surrounding hardscape, providing superior safety and performance every time!

Plastic Three Square Drain sizes are available:

  • 314mm square (10, 20, 30 & 40mm depths)
  • 342mm square (10, 20, 30 & 40mm depths) 
  • 656mm square (20mm depth)
  • 314 & 342 (concrete models at 40mm depth)

Two Tile inlay Linear Drain sizes are available:

  • 1210mm long x 125mm wide (suited to Everhard channel)
  • 1210mm long x 110mm wide (suited to Reln channel)
  • Depths: 10mm, 20mm and 30mm

One Concrete Linear Drain (modular):

  • 1000mm long x 125mm wide (concrete wet-pour) 
  • Depth: 40mm

Plastic drain channels are not included.

What Product do I need?

HIDE has several drain options available.

The HIDE range Drain Covers and Linear Drain Covers. The first step is to determine which HIDE product you need.

The size of your HIDE product refers to both the outer measurements of the lid, and the thickness (depth) allowed for your inlay materials. Your helpful HIDE sales professional, or your contractor, can assist with providing correct information on the size you will require. All of the outer and internal measurements for each product are provided on our product pages.

A Quick Initiation

1. HIDE Safety Key: A stainless steel tool to enable the installed HIDE lid to be safely and easily opened/closed.

2. HIDE Height Adjuster: Used only when additional height is required. Provides 2mm extra height if Inlay material is not thick enough to achieve a flush finish with the top of the Inlay lid.

3. HIDE Inlay Lid: A stainless steel tray which holds the Inlay (landscape) materials you’ve chosen e.g. tile, paver, concrete, decking, etc.

4. HIDE Edge Protector: A stainless steel frame inserted into a recess within the landscaped area. It protects the copping/surrounds from chipping/breakage when the inlay lid is opened/closed.

5. HIDE Adhesive

6. Documents: Contractor installation instructions, home owner information and warranty.

New Installation + Retrofitting

The HIDE kits are suitable for new landscape projects, and in most instances can also be retrofitted in existing landscaped areas. Many customers choose to upgrade their existing landscape lids to HIDE, because of the luxury, safe and durable finish that HIDE provides.

The comprehensive installation instructions will guide the contractor through the process to achieve a seamless finish in either a new build or replacement.

I Want a Hide in a Different Size!

Usually your contractor can cut a new recess in your landscape area to retrofit a HIDE in one of our standard sizes. However, if our available size options do not match the recess area for your lid – don’t stress!

HIDE can manufacture custom-sized lids for skimmers, drain and access points. We will happily guide you through the custom manufacturing process.
