For his own home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, he considered both gas and central heating before choosing a finished model – EcoSmart Igloo – from the Freestanding Range.

The stunning split-level home is the result of Luigi’s personal vision, and all inclusions were specially chosen to achieve this.

The Igloo was installed in the 40sqm lounge room and is used to heat the whole house, which is set over five levels. “As hot air rises, the Igloo heats the home,” explains Luigi. “The total living space that the Igloo heats up is 150sqm – a lot more than I expected.”
Behind the Igloo is a stunning, specially-made stone feature wall, which complements the indoor fireplace and enhances the look of the flame.
So would Luigi recommend EcoSmart Fires to others? “Yes, yes, yes. You would be an absolute idiot to use anything else,” he adds.
