Interior designer and one-half of 2014 ‘The Block’ champions, Shannon Vos will be sharing his reno secrets at an upcoming special event at the Sydney DECO Innovation Centre on 13 April.

Having renovated a number of properties, including most recently his family home, Shannon is no stranger to the highs and lows of DIY renovation. From design to construction, Shannon’s hands on approach means he’s learned more than his fair share along the way. And he’ll be sharing it all at this exclusive free event.

“It’s easy to see why so many Australians want to renovate.” says Shannon. “Renovating is a great way to update your space and create your dream home, and if you’re prepared to put in some DIY it can help your dollars go further too.”

“I’ll be talking through my top reno tips – from planning your new layout and engaging with trades, to where you can save your pennies and, most importantly, when not to scrimp!” says Shannon.

DECO’s architecturally-designed display centre is the perfect backdrop to gain inspiration and discuss ideas with Shannon after the talk. Showcasing DECO’s wide range of durable and beautiful aluminium cladding, battens, fencing, decking, splashbacks and more in life-size applications, the DECO team will also be on stand-by to discuss your project.

Don’t miss your chance to get some valuable insight before embarking on your renovation project. Whether you are looking to add an extension, build a new alfresco area or give your facade a facelift – or are even thinking about a complete home overhaul – this event is not to be missed!
