Glen Dimplex Australia has partnered with Warmset Australia to distribute Warmset far infrared underfloor heating across Australia, expanding the company’s heating portfolio beyond fireplaces and bringing architects, designers and builders’ access to another integrated approach to residential comfort. In South Australia, Rawsons will continue as Warmset Australia’s distribution partner.

The partnership brings together Warmset’s specialist underfloor heating expertise with Glen Dimplex Australia’s national infrastructure and established relationships across the architectural, building and wholesale sectors.

For architects and designers, the addition creates an opportunity to consider fireplace and underfloor heating requirements together earlier in the specification process. Glen Dimplex representatives will be able to discuss both systems, provide a unified quotation and remain a central point of contact through the project.

“Underfloor heating can provide consistent comfort throughout the whole home, whilst a fireplace provides the feature and ambience in the main living area,” said David Woodward, CEO of Glen Dimplex Australia.

“What stood out was a premium product with a clear IP difference. There was a clear point of difference and a story.”

The Warmset system can be specified across different floor finishes. One recent premium Melbourne residential project used Warmset across engineered timber, tile and carpet, with the system designed room by room around the floor finishes, electrical requirements and independently controlled zones.

Giovanna Toldi, Managing Director of Warmset Australia, said the Glen Dimplex partnership represents the next stage in the brand’s development locally.

“For Glen Dimplex to provide the national infrastructure needed to scale our operation is a significant step. It means we can respond properly to the high levels of interest that we have been experiencing.”

Warmset will also be displayed at Glen Dimplex’s Ignite Fireplace and Outdoor Studios in Richmond (Melbourne) and Alexandria (Sydney), allowing architects, builders and homeowners to experience both fireplace and underfloor heating solutions in one environment.

A more complete conversation about warmth

The partnership reflects a broader approach to residential heating design: underfloor heating providing discreet, integrated warmth throughout a home, while fireplaces can provide both focused warmth and an architectural focal point within key living spaces.

By bringing these categories together, Glen Dimplex Australia and Warmset Australia aim to make the specification process simpler for architects, designers and builders considering multiple heating solutions within a project.
