Investment was the focus of 2019, in both relationships and equipment, as we worked on fostering new relationships and treasuring those with our established clients. We also invested a lot of our time in researching how we can become more intelligent in manufacturing.

This research took our leadership team to China to make various investments in new state-of-the-art equipment that will further enhance our manufacturing capabilities.

Laser-cutting moves in-house

In 2020, we are excited to put our new auto-saw and industrial high-speed laser cutter to task at our Auckland plant.

Bringing laser cutting in-house means we can now process complex part geometries from nearly any material, no matter how thick or thin. It will cut through steel, aluminium, stainless steel, copper or any other heavy-duty metals with precision and ease.

It all starts with the CNC (computer numerical control) software that allows us to design patterns and shapes to flawlessly cut into the desired material. Then, the laser moves in a prescribed sequence controlled by the CNC machinery to ensure the cuts are just right.

This infinitely repeatable, software-driven cutting technology gives us the flexibility and speed to deliver results for your next fabrication project – on time and on budget.

We also provide etching services to address part numbering and other Quality Management System standards.

After all is said and done, we know price and service make the difference, and that is what sets Ashworth & Taylor apart.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
