Blending art and philosophy, SHIBUI celebrates subtlety and imperfection as the truest forms of beauty. Presented online and in-gallery from 8–23 November 2025.

Rooted in the Japanese philosophy of SHIBUI the pursuit of simple, subtle and unobtrusive beauty. This exhibition by Anna Curnuck and Tee McManus explores the quiet power of restraint.

To be described as SHIBUI is to balance simplicity with depth: to reveal richness gradually, to celebrate imperfection, and to find harmony in understatement. Through this lens, each work in the exhibition invites stillness and contemplation, valuing elegance that endures over brilliance that fades.

SHIBUI will be presented online and in-gallery (by appointment) from 8–23 November 2025.
