With over 20 years of experience, Collaroy Kitchen Centre has firmly established itself as a trusted name in the kitchen and bathroom design scene.
Located in Collaroy, New South Wales, the showroom combines an extensive range of sought-after kitchen finishes, fixtures and hardware, wrapped in premium service and attention to detail.
“We’ve been in business for a long time, and we’ve always strived to understand what people need and what they ask for so we can help them create their dream space,” says Helle Olsen from Collaroy Kitchen Centre.
What's particularly unique about Collaroy Kitchen Centre is the staff’s enthusiasm to work directly with clients on their projects, so much so that they have a team of in-house designers. While home renovations are often spearheaded by architects or interior designers, Collaroy Kitchen Centre has always welcomed homeowners with a vision for their homes and is confident its in-house team of designers can help transform client-led ideas into beautiful, practical spaces.
“We have a team of experienced designers who work closely with clients to understand their goals and requirements. This approach means that every project reflects the client's unique personality, lifestyle and budget,” says Helle. “It's not just about putting boxes together; it's about creating spaces that work seamlessly and beautifully.”
This ability to tailor designs to each client's individual needs and preferences results in spaces that are not only functional but also deeply personal.
“We welcome people into our showroom to explore the products and have a chat,” says Helle.
“We’ll then allocate them a designer with whom they'll have a thorough discussion about their project as we try to understand what it is they’re after, how they currently use the space and what they want to achieve. And then we'll put a suggestion together,” Olsen continues.
“And most of the time, people say, ‘wow, that's exactly what I want’, or other times, you have to tweak it and work with the client to finalise the design,” Olsen adds.
One remarkable project that showcases Collaroy Kitchen Centre’s ability to bring a client's vision to life is the Church Point 3 bathroom project. This Japanese-inspired bathroom combines the elegance of Naturally Tiles’ olive gloss range with the warmth of their Cherryion wood-look tiles, creating this unique, oriental-style bathroom.
“The client's inspiration came from a Japanese bath they had seen online, but importing it was costly. So, we stepped in, found a similar bath to fit the small space, and worked our magic to create a stunning Japanese-inspired oasis for them,” says Helle.
Another project that exemplifies Collaroy Kitchen Centre’s direct approach is the Collaroy 6 kitchen project. With its striking black cabinetry, solid walnut timber benchtop and Bruno Perla honed marble splashback; this kitchen is a masterwork of moody, modern design.
“It's not just about following trends; it's about creating a kitchen that perfectly suits the client's needs and tastes. This client has a large house but not a large kitchen. It wasn’t an open plan kitchen either, so we were constrained to the kitchen ‘room’ in a way, in terms of layout,” says Helle.
It's not just about following trends; it's about creating a kitchen that perfectly suits the client's needs and tastes.
Collaroy Kitchen Centre is renowned for its ability to transform ideas into practical and stunning spaces, all without the need and extra cost of external contractors. Working directly with homeowners means Collaroy Kitchen Centre can help turn kitchens and bathrooms into spaces uniquely tailored to its clients’ preferences, forming a legacy of designer projects as it makes more Australian homeowners’ dreams come true.
