Welcome to Littlehampton Clay Bricks and Pavers.
Today, we’ll be taking a look at our Stardust series range of pavers.
The Stardust series is a range of unique architectural slim clay pavers manufactured by us right here in our factory.
We produce the Stardust series in a range of colours for you to choose from. As with all our products, they’re 100% Australian made, 100% Australian owned and made using the finest locally sourced materials. We also implement many green manufacturing processes like running our factory on solar power and firing our kiln with recycled waste soil.
This means that we’re looking after the environment while making beautiful quality clay products that last forever. To learn more about this, you can check out our website at littlehamptonbrick.com.au.
So here we have our Stardust series range of pavers, different to our traditional series, Stardust are much slimmer, and they could also be laid on all four sides of the paver.
This means that you have the option for an ultra-slim profile if desired.
Most of the colours in the Stardust series range have dimensions of 230 millimetres long, 76 millimetres wide and 50 millimetres deep. The only exception to this is the colour Rouge. So it’s still 230 long by 76 wide, but it has a depth of 62 millimetres and has one specific side that should be laid up as the face of the paver.
The Stardust series is particularly popular for commercial projects, high-end developments, education, councils, main streets, shopping malls, things like that where they really want to have that unique, vibrant look offering the ability to create stunning linear lines.
They are a designer’s best friend.
Like all our pavers, they’re tested for strength, which is breaking load, water absorption, and slip resistance. They greatly exceed all tests and are suitable for pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
Our first colour is Cannon, dark and moody with earthy tones.
Cannon varies in colour from a dark bluish-black through to earthy colours and is the darkest colour in the range. The natural flashes and colour variations you see in Cannon, give it a real vibrance in life, and it’s perfect as a standalone paver, or it can be used as a dark accent to lighter colours.
Next up, we have Smoke—sophisticated greys with charred hues.
Smoke is a natural tawny grey colour with some occasional darker flashes.
With Smoke, there’s generally a lighter side and a darker side of each paver, this gives you the option of mottling the colours, or you can choose to favour one side for the whole project, giving a much more uniform look. As with all our products, Smoke pavers are actually made with clay with no concrete. So this makes it a warm grey rather than a cold grey, which gives a much more friendly, inviting feel.
Next up, we have Summer, light, breezy creams without artisan flashes.
Summer is the lightest colour in the Stardust series pavers range and perfect for using in areas where you want more natural light or where you want to accent one of the other colours in the range.
Summer naturally is a very uniform colour but can be laid slightly mottled if you use some of the darker flashed sides of the pavers. Summer naturally is a very uniform colour, but you can achieve a slight mottling if you lay some of the darker sides face up.
Rouge, raw industrial chic.
Rouge is slightly different to the other colours in the Stardust series for a few reasons.
Firstly, it’s slightly thicker at 62 millimetres. And secondly, there is a specific side of the paver that is known as the face of the paver. This is because Rouge goes through a custom manufacturing process where white clays are intermittently applied to the face of the paver, meaning no two pavers are exactly alike, giving a totally bespoke look.
Rouge, of course, was developed due to the overwhelming amount of requests that we had from architects, builders and landscapers who wanted our very famous blush brick to be used as a paver. So now you have it.
So that’s our core range of the Stardust series pavers as of the time of recording this video.
We’ll be developing new colours in the future, so keep an eye out.
