We recently partnered with Kate and Willem, from Tiny House Family NZ, to carpet their home which is located on the tranquil Waiheke Island, off the coast of Auckland, New Zealand.

With a passion for small homes, interior design and sustainable living, the innovative duo are determined to inspire others to make good, well-informed choices when it comes to choosing products for the home.

When looking for carpet, Kate and Willem were searching for a uniquely designed product which offered their family much more than just a floorcovering. They were looking for practical luxury to scrunch their toes into and they wanted a carpet that would really elevate the interior design of their home. With this in mind, they could not get passed our stunning Bremworth Collection Galet Quartz carpet.

Kate said, “We walked into the carpet store and fell in love with how unbelievably soft Bremworth Galet was to touch. There were also so many beautiful colours and pile designs to choose from too.”

With Bremworth wool carpet, they loved knowing the wool is 100% NZ grown, natural, biodegradable and renewable and they also loved the fact that wool offers so many amazing natural benefits such as stain, fire and soil resistance.

Our Galet carpet is a gorgeous chunky loop pile made in New Zealand from 100% felted NZ wool fibre. The random loop pile combined with the unique yarn structure creates textural interest on the floor and unbelievable softness. Galet is available in 11 colours including our iconic limited edition colours, IndigoSienna & Sage.

Kate & Willem used Award Carpets for their installation. They shared a video to their Instagram of their visit to our stand and the install of their new Bremworth carpet here.
