19th Century English Carrara Signed Marble Bust

This large well dressed piece of Carrara marble is the portrayal of a quintessentially English figure, Harry North Esq, signed J.A Raemaekers 1887. (J.A Raemaekers 1832 -1892). John Adrian Raemaekers was born in Louvain, Belgium and died in Pimlico, London. He exhibited at the Royal Academy a total of 22 times in his career, with a total of 43 works in all.

The bust has been professionally cleaned.
