Italian Alder

A large conical quick growing hardy tree with striking glossy green foliage. Is early into leaf in spring and also one of the last deciduous trees to lose its leaves in autumn. Adapts well to regular pruning, can be shaped into a handsome avenue or screen. Will tolerate most conditions including damp sites. Hardy, deciduous, grows to 10 x 5m.

Suitable for: Avenue or street planting, group planting and screening.

Features: Early into leaf and late to lose leaves, tolerant of a range of conditions including damp sites.
