The Alta, designed with old elm timber for a rustic style. Celebrating the natural grooves and details that give this bar stool its great character.
Old Elm Timber
Our Old Elm Timber Collection embraces the rawness of natural materials. We embrace the unique characteristics of each piece; the subtle twists and turns, the beautiful knots, and the organic splits that may open and close. Like most natural materials, care and maintenance is required over time to retain your desired aesthetic.
Sourcing:
Our Old Elm Timber Collection is sourced from salvaged beams that are repurposed from 100-year-old buildings. We carefully hand selected each one for their raw beauty and unique character. Any variations in the timber or colour are completely normal and are to be celebrated.
Sealant:
Our Old Elm Timber is finished with one coat of sealant to maintain the natural beauty of the timber, so it retains a raw aesthetic.
In order to care for the appearance of your timber product, we suggest avoiding direct contact with heat, liquid, and abrasive cleaners or chemicals. To clean your timber simply use a damp cloth to remove any dirt or dust.
To help retain the original showroom appearance of your timber, a natural hard wax (clear matte finish) could be applied every 12 months.
