The ocean that surrounds us tells a story of depth, movement, and mystery within. The dynamic layering of sapphire and cerulean colours dance across the canvas and articulates the flow of water and the moving tides. This force draws millions of people to the edge of this beautiful country we call home. The subtle injection of thick and thin lines created with pastels and luxurious oil sticks could be interpreted as lines drawn in the sand or natural forms that undulate in bodies of water. Through this gestural rhythm, I create abstract landscapes that allow the viewer to get lost in the enchantment of the coast.
