Two seat Maralunga sofa by Magistretti for Cassina was designed in 1973 and quickly became a design Classic. This sofa is known for its moveable back cushions that can sit low, directly behind the user when seated, or extended up to provide the user with more upper back and neck support.

The sofa is restored and expertly reupholstered in an aubergine recycled wool fabric. The joints are functioning well.

Our own collection ‘MakeBelieve’ aims to create transportive furniture that brings the past in line with the present, to twist the notion of time and space in our homes. We will be working with local artist and makers that share our passion. Our pieces are designed to be illustrative and playful. Our intention is to create transportive, unexpected pieces to bring joy to the home.
