The Austroflamm Clou Xtra wood burning fireplace is unique and considered to be the pinnacle in design excellence its barrel-shaped body with the large porthole is uniqueThe front glass is pushed forward and provided with a noble wooden handleFrom the front you might think that the basic shape is a cylinder: far from itIt s a clever optical illusionLooking at the Austroflamm Clou Xtra wood log stove from the side reveals a flattened body shape. As a result, although it looks like it takes up a lot of space, it is actually quite narrow.

The adjustable convection air is particularly practical on this model. There is a small lever on the top plate. This allows you to control how much heat is to be given off to the room. The further open the gap the faster it gets warm. The real highlight of this model is the integrated heat accumulator. It was installed invisibly above the combustion chamber. It is a heat accumulator of the latest Austroflamm generation. It absorbs some of the heat during combustion and stores it. After several hours, the Austroflamm Clou Xtra begins to release this energy back into the room even when the flames have long since gone out.

Internally every Austroflamm fire features a Keramott lining. Keramott is a patented product that is exclusive to Austroflamm. This material excels by an exceptional ratio between thermal insulation and heat conduction. Consequently, the combustion chamber reaches higher temperatures sooner, allowing for a clean, low-emission combustion.

Toni and Hayden purchased Hallam Heating in 2021 and rebranded to HP Fire in 2022 for a fresh look but sticking to the same values that made Hallam Heating so successful and still retain strong ties with all the previous owners of Hallam Heating.  Hayden isn’t new to the industry and has soaked up a wealth of knowledge having worked alongside some of the industry’s best.  Toni whilst new to the industry has a bunch of fresh new ideas, including the introduction of Electric Fireplaces and a range of barbecues and accessories.

In January 2023 HP Fire extended its showroom to have one of the largest showrooms in Victoria, enabling Toni & Hayden to have one of the most extensive range of wood, gas log and electric fireplaces in Australia.

August 2023 saw HP Fire acquire Wonthaggi Tiles & Heating and rebrand to HP Fire Bass Coast. With this exciting expansion HP Fire will be able to provide a broader range of flame heating options to the Bass Coast, South Gippsland and Phillip Island areas, with competitive prices, minus the traffic.
