Avant, a range of ash wood or Canaletto walnut containers, is composed of a sideboard versions, with bronzed brass legs in two heights, and a cupboard. A distinctive functional and aesthetic element of the project is the solid wooden upper edge of the hinged doors and the back, which slightly overhangs the top, in marble or black back-painted glass: on one hand, it allows the grip and the opening of the doors, on the other it enhances the wood grain. Cosh Living began as an outdoor furniture specialist, retailing curated designer outdoor furniture sourced from leading contemporary European brands. In 2016, directors Colin and Shane added indoor furniture to the offering, engaging leading Australian designer Justin Hutchinson to start building the in-house brand, Kett. Focused primarily on indoor collections, Justin and his team have been busy designing and bringing to market some new and exceptional collections inspired by the Australian way of life.
