Carimate Chair Anniversary Edition by Fritz Hansen

The armchair honours Vico Magistretti who designed the original red Carimate in 1959 for the golf club Carimate in Italy. The details make this anniversary edition by Fritz Hansen truly special. The flag line seat is inspired by the original straw seat, honouring the original aesthetic, without risking the organic decay associated with natural straw. Fritz Hansen has used European, GMOfree flax for the flag lin. 110 meters are woven by hand to create the beautiful, organic seat.

Small changes to the seat height and backrest design have been made for comfort. And the chair is available in red and black lacquer to honour earlier versions of the design.

Every chair is individually numbered for authenticity and longevity. A brass plaque under each seat marks its unique number.

About the
Seller

Established in 1997, Cult (formerly Corporate Culture) was formed to provide not only exceptional designer furniture, but also a high level of customer service, a combination not yet experienced in the Australian marketplace.

In his endeavours since then, company founder and director Richard Munao have built one of the most comprehensive collections of brand partners in Australia and New Zealand. Cult has grown from its first location in Sydney to now include showrooms in Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland as well as distributors in Canberra, Adelaide and Perth.

In addition to founding Cult, and supporting strong international partners like Fritz Hansen, Carl Hansen & Son, &Tradition, HAY and Gubi, in 2017 Cult launched Nau, a contemporary collection of Australian made furniture, lighting and accessories by a collective of Australia's most curious, talented and spirited designers.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
