Each silver-plated piece is set in a mobile walnut case with lines inspired by Jean Arp.

The whole evokes a kinetic work of art: part living painting, part contemporary ritual and functional art object.

The interior reveals a walnut tableau that holds the full silver-plated set (6 dinner forks, 6 dinner knives, 6 table spoons and 6 dessert spoons) stored upright along an ingenious system of pegs, inspired by the planar forms of Jean Arp. Beyond its artistic strength and technical prowess, the drop – the openwork part – of the cutlery becomes functional, allowing it to find its place within the case like a piece of kinetic sculpture. The opening creates a cinematic effect, akin to a rotating carousel and as precise as a clockwork mechanism. The object transcends its function: it displays, protects, and elevates.
