The Chester sofa is a contemporary, slim-line sofa with a nod to the retro aesthetic of the 1950s. One of our bestselling sofas, the Chester combines style with comfort and is fully customizable. Available in a variety of sizes and fabrics, it can also be made without arms or as a chaise or corner unit.

Contemporary loft apartments, family homes, breakout areas in modern workplaces, and wait-for seating in healthcare and educational facilities are a few of the applications for this versatile sofa.

Chester sofa is inspired by and named after designer Garth Chester (1916-1968), considered by many to be New Zealand’s Ray and Charles Eames. Designed and made in New Zealand.

  • Fully customizable. Available with or without arms, or as a corner unit.
  • Tapered wooden legs in a natural or dark stain.

  • Piping and buttons are available in a contrasting fabric for a feature detail.
