Our Ōamaru Stone architectural limestone can be custom cut, carved, shaped, engraved, and drilled to create bespoke designs. We can even reproduce existing pieces – our advanced scanning tool allows us to replicate products precisely, even when damaged.

Ōamaru Stone comes in a beautiful range of colours and tones, from deep caramel to striking shades of ochre, rust, and copper.

Advanced CNC Fabrication

We embrace the challenge of crafting new designs. With our skilled team and cutting-edge CNC (computer numeric control) fabrication technology, we can achieve virtually any size, shape, and design with precision. Our 5-axis CNC machine is the largest stone-fabricating tool in New Zealand and one of only two in Australasia, offering unparalleled accuracy for even the most intricate details.

Ōamaru Stone is delivered cost-effectively across New Zealand, directly from Parkside Quarry – our family-owned quarry in Ōamaru, North Otago. Each order is carefully packaged on custom-made pallets at the quarry, wrapped and strapped for efficient and secure shipping. A typical pallet weighs around 1400 kg, ensuring safe transport.

Combining the skill of our stonemasons with the incredible fabrication abilities of our CNC machine, results in stunning sculptures. We can sculpt to our designs or yours. With unique Ōamaru Stone colours, tones, finishes and textures to choose from, your sculpture will be one of a kind. Fine-grained with an even texture, Ōamaru Stone is easy to carve and strong enough for undercutting. Limestone is also durable and easy to maintain.
