Doge Laguna Table by Cassina

Artisan excellence in a table, Cassina celebrates the induction of Carlo Scarpa into the iMaestri collection with a limited edition of 50 pieces of the Doge Laguna table, designed in 1968 by the esteemed Venetian architect, to incorporate the atmosphere of the Lagoon into the piece through the creation of a sculptural work of the highest craftsmanship.

The rippling Laguna waves surface in the extra-clear glass table top in a tribute to the ancient glass art. The sheet is sand blasted to bring a matte finish to the glass and then fired again, producing the distinctive rippled effect. The refinement of the glass is further enhanced by bevelling the top, which thins the contours and forms a transparent crystalline frame.

Available in two sizes, Doge Laguna retains its iconic sculptural steel base that highlights the architectural character of the table.
