Don is an exploration of craftsmanship, comfort and considered details. Elegantly draped timber dons a sturdy wooden frame to create a chair that is strong and durable yet lightweight. Don’s angled back doubles as a functional armrest to encourage movement, whilst the gently curved seat offers ergonomic support, eliminating pressure points in the legs of the sitter. With playful details such as the visible connection between the frame and seat reminiscent of cufflinks, Don has a uniquely compact footprint suitable for a variety of commercial contexts.

Established in 1997, Cult (formerly Corporate Culture) was formed to provide not only exceptional designer furniture, but also a high level of customer service, a combination not yet experienced in the Australian marketplace.  

In his endeavours since then, company founder and director Richard Munao have built one of the most comprehensive collections of brand partners in Australia and New Zealand. Cult has grown from its first location in Sydney to now include showrooms in Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland as well as distributors in Canberra, Adelaide and Perth.  

In addition to founding Cult, and supporting strong international partners like Fritz Hansen, Carl Hansen & Son, &Tradition, HAY and Gubi, in 2017 Cult launched Nau, a contemporary collection of Australian made furniture, lighting and accessories by a collective of Australia's most curious, talented and spirited designers.
