Drop Mano Lamp, MakeBelieve

By CCSS

Introducing our exquisite, handcrafted Drop Mano Lamp—a true masterpiece of artisanal craftsmanship, inspired by early modernist sculptures like Brancusi’s Endless Column. Each lamp embodies the dedication and expertise of numerous specialised artisans. The hand-spun wooden form is meticulously shaped by skilled woodworkers, the solid brass shade, carefully finished with a hand-treated aged texture by master metalworkers, guarantees that no two lamps are ever identical.

By playing with abstract forms, we sought to explore the interaction of light with this organically shaped object. The lamp's soft curves and lustrous finish create a playful and inviting presence. With its unique personality, the Drop Mano Lamp sparks imagination and brings a sense of calm and elegance to any room. This lamp is more than just a source of light; it is a testament to the collaborative artistry and dedication of its creators, making it a truly unique addition to your home.

Hand made here in Melbourne. Materials; Turned bulbous wooden stem, walnut stain with clear satin finish. Spun brass shade, floor lamp switch, brown cord. Takes E27 bulbs.

About the
Seller

CCSS was established in 2017 through passion and simple demand. Owners, Clare and Sonam, sum up what they do ‘They are furniture curators.’ With an elusive knack for recognising beauty, potential and sometimes an obscure harmony that can be found between signature pieces of furniture from a score of era’s. The word “eclectic” goes part way to describing the aesthetic that their work realises yet doesn’t quite sit right as it doesn’t even begin to allude to the beautiful consideration and restraint that they innately instill upon spaces they work on. “We like to provide that unique piece for the home, that finishing touch’.

Our own collection ‘MakeBelieve’ aims to create transportive furniture that brings the past in line with the present, to twist the notion of time and space in our homes. We will be working with local artist and makers that share our passion. Our pieces are designed to be illustrative and playful. Our intention is to create transportive, unexpected pieces to bring joy to the home.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
