Chevaline Coatings Systems provide external weatherproofing or waterproofing, with easy cleaning or graffiti resistant properties. Our coatings are generally used in conjunction with our texture coatings as a part of a full crack repair and remedial system. Specifications are engineered specifically to clients’ requirements.
Systems
Chevaline coatings systems are available to provide external weatherproofing or waterproofing, with or without texture with easy cleaning or graffiti resistant properties if required. Systems are available for interior use, generally textured to clients’ requirements.
These are normally individually specified for each project as appropriate and the manufacturer or Approved Equus Contractors should be consulted for provision of appropriate specification details.
Because of the wide variety of available product combinations, it is possible to provide a system engineered to a client’s exact needs with regard to appearance and service conditions.
Chevaline Coverall
High-build exterior/interior self-texturing topcoat.
Chevaline Coverall is a versatile, high-build material for exterior and interior use. It has an in-built flexibility and durability, high adhesion properties and early water resistance. Coverall is the most versatile of the coatings as it can be used as a bodycoat, a topcoat, or thinned down and used as a primer.
It can be used in domestic, commercial and light industrial situations and can be textured during application or applied over a textured body coat, leaving the coating with an eggshell finish. Coverall may also be over-glazed where required for ease of cleaning. For maximum performance, topcoats should be inspected and recoated at 8-10 year intervals for exterior use, and 10 year intervals for interior use.
Chevaline Stonewash
High build flat, smooth or sandy topcoat.
Chevaline Stonewash is a high build topcoat suitable for use in domestic and commercial situations where a flat matt finish is required. It can be applied to all stable building materials with a suitable primer or over an appropriate waterproof and textured coating system. Stonewash is an acrylic material designed to be tough, durable, lightfast, and have excellent adhesion.
Chevaline Stonewash is available as a flat, smooth or sandy topcoat for a choice of finishes. For maximum performance, topcoats should be inspected and recoated at 8-10 year intervals
Chevaline Colourglaze
High durability flexible exterior gloss finish.
Chevaline Colourglaze is a highly durable, gloss-finish glaze-coat for use in both exterior and interior situations. It is used in both commercial and domestic construction to provide a maximum possible life-to-recoat finish, or to upgrade the performance of existing finishes to provide a maximum maintenance-free life. This product enhances the long term durability by providing a surface that is easy to clean, less liable to retain pollutants, and provides a generally lower maintenance finish. This product is commonly used on the interior of dairy factories as the system has been approved by AssureQuality for food/beverage/dairy factory food areas for clean rooms.
Recoating may be required at 10-12 year intervals, depending on service conditions.
The finish of Chevaline Colourglaze can be either smooth or sandy textured, depending on the bodycoat used in the system, and a choice of matt, satin or gloss finishes are available.
Our Chevaline Coatings have a warranty period of 10 years when used in conjunction with the specified systems and applied by a certified Equus contractor.
