Stacking Floor Lamp by Leucos

Stacking’s design is based on a modular system comprised of handblown glass cylinders in different colors and heights. The result is a series of three floor lamps, each with their own personalities. The cylinder components have unique opacities and height that when stacked create unexpected synergies of light. Halogen light sources in the base provide the up light to the luminous column of glass.

“It really seems that the light source is still a reminder of the origins of things. Even if it no longer illuminates the family circle, dispersed and multiplied, it is still the sign of a privileged intimacy, attributes a particular value to things, creates shadows, invents presences ” Jean Baudrillard, Le système des objects, 1968.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
