Flush Fit install guide

Flush Fit Track is a curtain track recessed into the ceiling. The track sits inside the ceiling lining and requires no brackets for installation. The Flush Fit track is available in 10mm or 13mm profiles, the standard ceiling lining sheet thickness used Australia (Gyprock).

Builders must allow a parallel gap of 18mm in the ceiling sheet to accommodate the track width. The track has a 5mm flange on either side of the glide channel for the cut edge of the ceiling sheet to sit on, making for a superior finish.

The track length is available in continuous 6-meter lengths. When installations exceed 6 meters, tracks need to butt together. Solutions are available for 90° angles bends offered with either a 150mm or 250mm Bend Radius. We can supply bent pieces of track to builders in preparation for the final installation to get the ceiling lining cut accurately and correctly.

The Flush Fit track can be supplied pre-drilled at 500mm centres and we supply suitable low profile screws to minimise chances of damaging the extrusion.

Tracks should cut or ordered 11mm shorter than the given length so that access to the glides is possible without having to take down the track.

Fitters are to position one end of the track hard up to one end to allow the 11mm gap at the other. The cover plate (end caps) is fitted to cover the gap.

Flush Fit track comes in white and can also be custom powder-coated to suit – POA.
