Graffiti Rug by Cassina

Artisan skill blends with contemporary design for this rug conceptualized by Charlotte Perriand during her stay in Japan in 1940. Sailor’s graffiti: the motif depicted on the Graffiti rug is a copy of obscure marine animals drawn by a Japanese sailor using white chalk on a black background. Each production stage in this design rug, made by Tibetan artisans, is meticulously carried out by hand with natural materials.
