A striking centrepiece for the dining table or kitchen bench, the Billy bowl remixes the irreverent design codes of 1980s postmodernism with nods to the postpunk music and fashion of the same era. Finished in a monochrome palette and raised on a trio of playfully juxtaposing geometric blocks, the round ceramic vessel has echoes of Swiss architect and postmodern maestro Mario Botta.

But it’s another 1980s iconoclast that gives the piece its moniker – raffish pop-punk superstar Billy Idol. Channelling the singer’s rebel yell and rock-and-roll glamour, the bowl’s perforated surface is electrified by flashes of dazzling gold or silver metallics, fusing the enduring chic of black and white with a hint of subversive energy. It’s a glittering style statement that offers sculptural and textural appeal, beautifully complementing the Greg Natale ceramic accessories collection.
