JL Audio Fathom F110 V2 10” Powered Subwoofer

The JL Audio Fathom F110 V2 10” Powered Subwoofer is the most compact subwoofer in the Fathom lineup but is fully capable of delivering a stellar performance in smaller spaces. The combination of an ultra-long throw W7 10-inch driver and a very powerful switching amplifier give it the kind of output normally associated with far larger subwoofer systems.

Because it is built with the same driver and amplifier technology as the flagship Gotham®, the f110v2 delivers a tremendous level of sound quality. Low distortion, excellent dynamic capabilities, and a shockingly deep bass extension will allow you to experience all the excitement of the most demanding cinematic material, while also being able to reproduce all the nuance and texture of your most delicate musical material.

A complete set of signal processing features is easily accessible on the front surface of every Fathom. These include a highly flexible low-pass filter, variable phase, switchable polarity, e.l.f. trim and the powerful Digital Automatic Room Optimisation (D.A.R.O.) system. A calibrated microphone is included for the D.A.R.O. system. Input connections are made via unbalanced RCA connections or balanced Neutrik® combo XLR/TRS jacks. Also included is an XLR output to connect a second Fathom® as a slave unit.

In typical listening spaces, subwoofer and listener placement have a profound effect on the accuracy of low-frequency reproduction. While it is always recommended that you place your subwoofers in good-sounding locations, knowing that these often can be impractical locations. In the real world, subwoofer placement almost always involves a compromise between sonic performance, practicality, and aesthetics.

To face this dilemma head-on, JL Audio subwoofer systems incorporate a clever piece of technology called Digital Automatic Room Optimisation (D.A.R.O.). The D.A.R.O. system self-generates a series of calibration tones, measures the frequency response at the listening position, and automatically configures an 18-band, 1/6 octave equaliser for a flat end result. The system effectively allows for smooth, well-balanced sub-bass from a variety of locations that would have been less than ideal without D.A.R.O.

JL Audio is known as one of the pioneers of the car audio industry. They produce marine, home, and car products.

The Life Style Store History

The Life Style Store first opened its doors in February 2002 in the Riverbank complex in Parramatta. It was started by three individuals with a passion for quality home and car entertainment products. Having had vast experience within Australia’s largest car audio retailer at the time, the staff were determined to take that experience and develop a business that could take the home theatre and car audio experience to another level.

In mid-2004, the Riverbank complex was sold and the company relocated to its current premises at The Junction in North Parramatta where we have been for over 16 years. Over time the showroom has been expanded to include 17 home entertainment demonstration rooms.

In 2021 a further expansion was commenced to showcase a simulated fully automated home and new Automotive categories. The showroom’s vast array of demonstration rooms and facilities allow you to audition the true home and car entertainment experience as well as home automation systems before making your purchasing decision.

Life Style Store’s retail showroom is based in the fast-growing Western Suburbs/Hills region of Sydney, however the store services customers from all over Sydney and Regional New South Wales.

Whilst a competitive price is always of importance, the quality and suitability of the product are even more important and that is the mantra of the Life Style Store. We will design the right system with the correct components to provide you with the performance and functionality to suit your needs. We are also focused on providing you with the best available products on the market for your requirements, so we have made the conscious decision to not import our own brands so that we can remain impartial. We offer a wide range of products from a carefully selected range of brands which we offer without any bias other than towards their performance, reliability, and value-for-money. You won’t find any low-quality brands at the Life Style Store. Vinod, the company’s co-founder says: “We plan to be here for a long time, so don’t want to waste our time on poor quality products. We want our customers to come back and recommend us to their friends.”

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
