Knurling is a manufacturing process, typically conducted on a lathe whereby a pattern of straight, angled or crossed lines is rolled into the material.

With the lever handle, the challenge lies in finding the ideal point of proportion in the knurling so as not to overpower the actual handle. As Felix Ure, Product Development Manager explains,

“The key is keeping it simple and accenting the aesthetics of the handle so that the knurling doesn’t become the design, but rather complements the design of the handle.” The result is a well-proportioned, luxurious door handle that is both subtle and statement in styling.
