The JSC Coda colour palette is a versatile and stylish solution for your exterior wood protection needs. Designed specifically for the New Zealand market, this colour range includes 15 beautiful shades, as well as a clear coating option, so you can choose the perfect colour to suit your style and needs.

A JSC Coda Wood Oil favourite is the Lava Grey colour, this unique shade mimics the weathered look of timber that has been exposed to the elements, making it the perfect choice for those looking to add a touch of natural beauty to their exterior design. This colour is formulated differently from the other shades in the range with a slightly different base composition, but still offers the same long-lasting protection that you can expect from JSC Coda Wood Oil.

*It's important to note that decking applications only come in the clear coating option. However, for all other exterior applications, you have a wide range of colours to choose from, so you can find the perfect match for your project.

Coverage

Drying times and coverage rates may vary due to a variety of factors such as seasonal temperature, timber porosity, moisture content (below 18% required), the timber type, and previous coats applied.

Application Rate Recommendation:

  • New band sawn timber: approx. 8-12 square metres per litre.
  • Restored band sawn timber and wooden roof shingles: approx. 6-8 square metres per litre.

Avoid applying excess product to the surface as it will not dry. To deliver the optimum quantity, we recommend a trial application on offcuts prior to undertaking the actual coating
