Kings Canyon is a mesmerising landscape of beehive-like sandstone domes and weathered rock formations carved out over time by water and wind erosion.
My recent trek through this sacred land inspired me to create a series of earth-tone paintings that capture the prehistoric essence of the Lost City.
The organic colours and forms in my paintings reflect the weathered and cyclical nature of the countryside and its ability to regenerate itself.
The visual force of my work parallels the magnetic field-like energy of the Northern Territory, drawing the viewer in to experience the beauty and power of this sacred land.
