- The Expert's Point of View
Scientific studies have shown that long periods of a sedentary lifestyle can lead to cardiovascular disease and musculoskeletal disorders. Therefore, Dr Charles Bark, Ph.D. researcher in the field of AI and health and a pioneer of technologies designed to improve people's well-being in their homes, researched a sofa that would mitigate the health risks from poor sitting posture. It was for the same reason that the meeting in Paris with Pasquale Natuzzi led to the Mindful 365 project: embodying the essence of Natuzzi's Comfortness philosophy.
