The Leiner Garda HK is a discreet, elegant awning that’s suitable for any style of building. It has a large front profile which protects the awning fabric and folding arms, and an extremely robust arm system which keeps the awning fabric taut thanks to its special geometry.

A Leiner tilting joint, fitted as standard, guarantees a reliable closing action, and the integrated high-impact brake offers safety and many years of precise functionality. The heavy components are made from hardened aluminium and Leiner’s special manufacturing process makes the awning components more resilient and long-lasting.

  • The GARDA HK VARIO-VOLANT is available in a maximum width of 650 cm and a maximum projection of 400 cm (with bottom profile up to 300 cm), coupled systems with a slit cover in a maximum width of 1,300 cm and a maximum projection of 400 cm (with bottom profile up to 300 cm). In the standard version an electric motor is included.
  • The GARDA HK comes in the standard colour white (RAL 9010), or alternatively in one of the 18 LEINER LOUNGE fine structured finishes. We can also supply them in any preferred RAL colour for an additional charge.
  • Choice of operating system: You have a choice of three operating systems with the standard version of the Leiner Garda HK: manual (lowest price), electric, or radio-controlled. Thanks to Somfy RTS wireless technology, the radio-controlled option allows you to extend and retract your awning using a remote control.

  • LEINER materials are known both for their quality and for the wide selection of different patterns. Our range comprises more than 200 patterns from various colour schemes and many special fabrics – with a diversity of choice extending from classic block stripes through timeless, monochrome materials to modern stripes. Last but not least, LEINER’s awning fabrics offer protection against UV rays of up to factor 80.

  • The Leiner Garda HK Vario-Volant is available in a maximum width of 6500 mm and a maximum projection of 4000 mm (with bottom profile up to 3000 mm). Coupled systems with a slit cover can have a maximum width of 13000 mm and a maximum projection of 4000 mm (with bottom profile up to 3000 mm). It comes in the standard colour white (RAL 9010), or alternatively, in one of the 18 Leiner Lounge fine textured finishes. Leiner can also supply them in any preferred RAL colour for an additional charge.
  • The Leiner Garda HK also has the option of a lighting system integrated in its folding arms, which is dimmable by a wireless control. Another option is a Wind Protect System – whereby fixable supports on the front profile are used to significantly enhance the wind stability of your awning. Depending on its size, this system protects from winds up to wind strength eight – even sudden gusts.

  • Wind Protect System: Fixable supports on the front profile enhance wind stability, offering protection up to wind strength 8. Originally developed for cafés and restaurants, this system ensures the awning remains stable even in strong winds.
  • Smart Home Ready Drive: Opt for a radio-controlled motor with Somfy io wireless technology, allowing control via remote or smartphone. Manual crank operation is also available.
  • Lighting: The GARDA HK is available with integrated LED lighting in the folding arms, offering wirelessly dimmable indirect light for a moody atmosphere.
  • SAFETY MOTION: The emergency manual drive allows you to close the awning manually with a crank if the radio-controlled motor fails.
  • 3D Sensor: This sensor, attached to the front profile, automatically retracts the awning when wind intensity increases, providing extra protection.
  • Control: Fully automated controls adjust the awning based on sunlight and wind strength. Note that this control may not protect against sudden strong gusts; consider the Wind Protect System WPS for added stability.
  • Heater: Extend your outdoor enjoyment with a heater available in 18 LEINER LOUNGE colours, which can be integrated into your smart home system.
  • CALYPSO ROLL Side Awning: This side awning offers protection against sunlight, light wind, and privacy intrusions, making it an ideal complement to the GARDA HK for terraces and balconies.
