Mito is a new addition to the wide range of QLIV dining tables.
Carolina Wilcke designed this table for QLIV, inspired by the technique of bending wood. Her style is characterized as pure and clear, tough, yet refined. The tabletop, which has been finished to perfection, is slightly rounded, and is gracefully supported by rectangular curved wooden table legs. The legs of the table are set at a playful angle and split just below the tabletop. By experimenting with curved shapes of wood, the legs originated as a 'design gift'. The splitting of the legs inspired Wilcke to choose the name Mito, which refers to Mitosis, the process of cell division. This elegant table is available in European oak and American walnut. Oak provides a fresh, modern look, while American walnut gives the table a warmer feel.
