Optoma HDR. HDR10 / HLG

UHD35+ supports HDR10 and HLG. When an HDR/HLG signal is imported, the projector automatically switches to HDR / HLG display mode. Optoma’s HDR colour mapping and tone mapping technology, it enables HDR / HLG movies or games to be presented with optimised performance in the accurate colour and dynamic contrast.

HDR / HLG Picture Mode

HDR, High Dynamic Range, is a standard that comes with a higher dynamic range in video signals, allowing the image to be shown with more brightness and colour without losing any details. UHD35+ allows users to adjust the dynamic range according to the video content or environment.

The Smart and Simple Way to Watch Movies

Watching movies is easy. With the touch of a button, switch to “Cinema” display mode, image performs true to life with high contrast by the specific Gamma curve and colour gamut. In the meantime, it activates the Brilliant Pulse on Red function to make the light pulse project onto the red segment of the colour wheel. Red enhancement reproduces closer to natural skin tones, better colour saturation, and a more enjoyable viewing experience.

Dynamic Black

Dynamic Black can accurately control light bulb output power and automatically adjust it based on different image brightness. There is no need to use an aperture ring to adjust for dark scenes. With the Auto Gain function, details are more pronounced and an increase in a contrast ratio of nearly three times is achieved. This means that images appear true to life with a dramatic increase in contrast.

In Optoma’s Colour Lab, simulations were carried out for gaming in different ambient light settings to calibrate and boost the details in the dark and develop the exclusive “Game” display mode. HDR Effect

If game content supports HDR format, UHD35+ automatically switches to “HDR” display mode for optimal HDR images. If not, UHD35+ provides “HDR Sim” display mode to achieve HDR-effect images for the richest colour gamut and sharpest contrast, without sacrificing any detail.

Lightning-fast 240Hz Refresh Rate

The refresh rate is the number of times your display device updates with new images each second. 240Hz means 240 times per second. The higher the refresh rate, the more frames your monitor can display in each second, and the smoother your on-screen image can be shown.

The Life Style Store History

The Life Style Store first opened its doors in February 2002 in the Riverbank complex in Parramatta. It was started by three individuals with a passion for quality home and car entertainment products. Having had vast experience within Australia’s largest car audio retailer at the time, the staff were determined to take that experience and develop a business that could take the home theatre and car audio experience to another level.

In mid-2004, the Riverbank complex was sold and the company relocated to its current premises at The Junction in North Parramatta where we have been for over 16 years. Over time the showroom has been expanded to include 17 home entertainment demonstration rooms.

In 2021 a further expansion was commenced to showcase a simulated fully automated home and new Automotive categories. The showroom’s vast array of demonstration rooms and facilities allow you to audition the true home and car entertainment experience as well as home automation systems before making your purchasing decision.

Life Style Store’s retail showroom is based in the fast-growing Western Suburbs/Hills region of Sydney, however the store services customers from all over Sydney and Regional New South Wales.
