The heart of the Janinhoff clinker brick range is the original Münsterziegel®. The clay for the water-struck brick is forced into a mould and then pressed out with the addition of water. Each individual brick is unique. 

The Münsterziegel® is a genuine solid water-struck clinker brick. Water-struck bricks are characterised by their varied surface and roughened texture. These clinker bricks are the architects’ tool of choice as each brick has its own distinctive character.

Original waterstruck bricks- replicating the traditional method of brick making. Manufactured bespoke to order. Each brick goes into an individual mould and is pushed out with pressure creating texture and variation in shape. This long format, clinker brick, comes in 290 x 90 x 40mm and 290 x 90 x 52mm.
