Usage
- As a highly durable finish for interior timber surfaces, including:
- Floors, windows, doors, architraves
- Furniture, Cabinetry
- Toys (approved for use on toys according to European regulations)
- Cork, Chipboard, MDF
Coverage
- 20-25m² per litre depending on the absorbency of the timber.
- *15m² per litre approximately for the first coat on most timbers, chipboard and absorbent substrates.
Whitewash or Stain
- If you would like to whitewash or stain your floor, then use 1-2 coats of our Pure Interior Oil to achieve the desired look, before overcoating with our Hard Floor Oil. You can view this product and our colours we offer here.
Ingredients
- Water, Castor Oil, Silica, Plant Oil Emulsion, Thickener, Sodium Salt, Food Additive E1520, Eco-friendly proprietary driers, Biocides < 0.05%
- Clean implements immediately after use with water. If left, implements will need to be cleaned up with thinners
- Clean only after fully hardened. Use warm soapy water to clean surfaces coated with Hard Floor Oil. We recommended the Natural Paint Company Household Cleaner.
- When recoating Hard Floor Oil, clean surface well and degrease if necessary, sand lightly.
- Add felt pads to chair and table legs to protect floors from furniture movement. Natural floors can mark and scratch easily and removing outdoor shoes is also an advisable move - stones stuck to shoes will cause a great deal of harm to wooden floors
- Keep out of reach of children
- Use with adequate ventilation; do not breather fumes or vapour
- Avoid skin contact
- Keep work materials soaked in Hard Floor Oil, such as rags, sponges, sanding dust and contained clothing in an airtight container, or rinse in water and spread out to dry on a non-combustible surface
- Seal well and store in a cool, dry place
- Remove any skin that has formed in open containers and sieve if necessary before use.
