The RB-1582 200 watt per channel stereo power amplifier is an outstanding example of Rotel’s Balanced Design Concept and will form the heart of a very impressive stereo or home theatre system for years to come. Rotel’s largest stereo amplifier at 200 watts per channel provides the massive current to drive the very largest hi-fi systems effortlessly. And like its smaller brother, the RB-1582 MKII has been designed to excel at resolving the subtle details in music as well as supplying the brawn required for extremely dynamic passages. It is able to achieve this difficult dual requirement because of the meticulous attention paid to circuit design and parts selection.

The RB-1582 MKII ‘s high-end performance begins with an extremely large toroidal transformer combined with a total of 60,000uF storage capacity in special “slit foil” capacitors to provide completely stable power to the output stage. Slit foil capacitors have the ability to charge and discharge extremely quickly, thereby ensuring signal fidelity during orchestral crescendos or repetitive kick-drum impacts, for example.

Both left and right channel construction are laid out in a monoblock design (after the toroidal transformer) and all grounding is terminated in a star pattern on a copper grounding plate to ensure low signal to noise. The output stage is a discrete design that consists of 10 high current bipolar transistors per channel. Input options consist of both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connectors.

The Life Style Store History

The Life Style Store first opened its doors in February 2002 in the Riverbank complex in Parramatta. It was started by three individuals with a passion for quality home and car entertainment products. Having had vast experience within Australia’s largest car audio retailer at the time, the staff were determined to take that experience and develop a business that could take the home theatre and car audio experience to another level.

In mid-2004, the Riverbank complex was sold and the company relocated to its current premises at The Junction in North Parramatta where we have been for over 16 years. Over time the showroom has been expanded to include 17 home entertainment demonstration rooms.

In 2021 a further expansion was commenced to showcase a simulated fully automated home and new Automotive categories. The showroom’s vast array of demonstration rooms and facilities allow you to audition the true home and car entertainment experience as well as home automation systems before making your purchasing decision.

Life Style Store’s retail showroom is based in the fast-growing Western Suburbs/Hills region of Sydney, however the store services customers from all over Sydney and Regional New South Wales.
