The Shell takes its well-deserved place among the legendary works of art by Niko Kralj. The basic idea was to use two equally formed plywood panels for the seat and backrest. The chair got its final shape in 1956 and soon became the chair of choice for socialist-era offices and public waiting rooms. The Shell Armchair gets an update with a beautiful wooden frame, while embracing founder Niko Kraljs unique construction for the original Shell Chair. Two formed plywood panels come together on both sides of the chair and are cradled in the smooth wooden frame.
