Boxs Ready MastaLine Joint Compound Bucket

Scope of use

Applications:

  • Pump straight from the bucket into the box or automatic taping tool.
  • Apply the compound to the wall using appropriate setting method (box, taping tool, corner tool, etc).
  • Ensure sufficient compound under paper tape for maximum adhesion.
  • Excessive thinning may cause cracking or increased shrinkage. Do not mix with any other material.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation for optimum drying time.
  • When using Box Ready Mastaline for all three coats, joints must be backblocked.
  • Siniat paper tape is recommended for use with Box Ready Mastaline.
  • For a stronger joint, use Siniat paper tape and Mastabase/Longset or Mastatape Universal for the first two coats, with Box Ready Mastaline as the final coat.
  • Allow to dry completely between coats. We recommend 24 hours. Drying time will depend on the weather.
  • Sand with 180 to 220 grit sand paper.
  • Works well with most types of decorative finishes.
