Smart Lighting

Smart Lighting can welcome you home, upgrade your security, cut down on your electricity bills, and create different moods, both in and outside the house.

Automated lighting can transform a home, both aesthetically and practically. Imagine lights coming on automatically as the sun sets, or following you from room to room. Even when you’re on holiday, you don’t have to worry about timers and buttons… it’s all accessible from your phone using the incredible Control4 system.

Designer AV can create and install a Control4 home lighting system which gives you total control of all the lights in your home from a single device.

Set the mood with dimmed lighting for watching TV, or have the lights gradually come on in the morning, slowly helping you to wake up.

Improved security lighting is a breeze with timers and motion sensors, with your home automatically lighting up as night falls.

Control4’s Smart Lighting can even create a “mockupancy”, which alternates lights, shades and even televisions in a random order, making it look like someone’s home, even when you’re on the other side of the world.

Designer AV can complete all smart lighting work ourselves or work alongside your preferred electrician, providing full technical info and drawings for all aspects of the job.

“I would have no hesitation in strongly recommending Derek based upon my experience. He delivered great professional service, no hard sell, and really quick delivery and installation and the outcome is much more than we had hoped for.”
