The industrial design studio Nendo of Tokyo and Milan, metaphorically splintered each piece of the wood arm frame, by the bold use of bent and laminated technology. The elegantly detailed finger-joint intersection of the curved back, cross-sections, peel away, while ingeniously forming pliable, graceful offshoots of pure sculpture. The result: light-footed furniture with a soft, particularly smooth surface and a true masterpiece of the woodwork.
