Thassos Marble

When you think of the purest whitest marble you are probably imagining Thassos marble. Renowned as the whitest marble in the world, Thassos marble is highly sought-after for high-end residential and commercial projects. Quarried on the island of the same name this marble has been used to construct temples and sculptures since the Sixth century BC. With it’s fine crystalline structure that captures and reflects the light, to the durability and resistance from contamination this marble has established itself as one of the most alluring marbles in the world. Installations of Thassos marble are bright and airy with a freshness that is difficult to achieve from any other stone. Suitable for main floors as well as floors and walls of bathrooms, Thassos is difficult to quarry in large formats so installations are normally of tiles or small slabs
