Viridis is a 100 x 120cm original artwork by abstract artist Lee J Morgan.

Viridis captures the feeling of life emerging through shadow and atmosphere, where movement, depth and colour gather slowly across the canvas.

The title comes from the Latin word viridis, meaning green, flourishing and alive. Rather than representing landscape directly, it captures growth, emergence and movement held within colour and atmosphere.

Space and restraint play an important role within Viridis, allowing the composition to breathe while drawing focus toward the concentrated movement suspended within the darker field. The work continues to shift depending on light and surrounding space, revealing subtle tonal changes and layers throughout the day.
