Vittoriano Vigano work for Arteluce in the 1950s has become highly coveted and emblematic of the sculptural organic designs that emerged from post war Italy. The VV Cinquanta lighting series with its slender forms and ovoid shades perfectly showcase the lavish and gestural style that defined Italian modernism. The Wall model is mounted on a brass fixture, allowing the reflector to rotate 350 degrees, and can be angled 160 degrees, providing a wide range of lighting compositions. The VV Cinquanta reflector is made of enameled spun aluminium, available in original Vittoriano Vigan colours.
