Japanese cedar heat treated and charred then brushed twice removing most of the char from the softwood and leaving carbon only on the fine hardwood grain. Once the softwood is exposed it readily accepts natural colour oils before we do a final factory coat to seal. With every board finished by hand, the final result is a truly beautiful cladding with an enhanced timber grain set against a range of natural colours.
