Tall version of the Nest Table Lamp; delicate strands of rattan formed in a special extrusion process wrap around in a nest arrangement around the light source using the random weave technique developed by the Angoteam to create this lamp. The construct is elevated by a long stainless steel leg. The soft glow from this lamp is extremely warming, perfect in a room that needs a touch of soft, natural lighting. The low impact and low energy intensive process of how Ango creates designs is representative of their view of how enlightened, environmentally responsible 21st century design and production can be.

“It really seems that the light source is still a reminder of the origins of things. Even if it no longer illuminates the family circle, dispersed and multiplied, it is still the sign of a privileged intimacy, attributes a particular value to things, creates shadows, invents presences ” Jean Baudrillard, Le système des objects, 1968.
