IT ALL STARTED IN 1952...
Jacques Cadry established Cadrys in Sydney, Australia upon his arrival in 1952 from his native Tehran Iran. Known as a pioneer of the rug trade in Australia and for his expert knowledge, passion and integrity. It was his infectious passion for the weavers art that has continued to propel generations of his family to continue to weave a journey of their own.
THE CADRY FAMILY
Today Cadrys is led by Jacques son, Robert, along with his sons; Ari and Jared Cadry. Having amassed Australia's largest collection of collectible, decorative and antique rugs of, Persian, Anatolian, Caucasian and European origin.
The company has since expanded from its original showroom in Edgecliff, Sydney and now hosts three retail showrooms, two wholesale showrooms and two distribution warehouses between Sydney and Melbourne.
