Michael Murray Studio is an Auckland-based high end interior design practice creating calm, contemporary spaces grounded in natural materials and thoughtful detail. Working across kitchens, bathrooms, and full residential projects throughout New Zealand, the studio focuses on honest craftsmanship and quiet luxury — design that feels timeless rather than trend-driven. Each project balances function and emotion, helping clients remove the noise of daily life and return to something slower, softer, and deeply personal.

As a full-service designer and supplier, Michael Murray Studio manages every stage — from concept and spatial planning to material specification and installation. Design fees start from $4,000 NZD + GST for a kitchen design and extend up to $30,000 NZD + GST for a full home design scope of approximately 1,000 m², with each proposal tailored to the project’s scope, pace, and level of detail.

Michael has been within the design industry many years and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Design from AUT & Diploma in Kitchen Design from the National Kitchen and Bathroom Association (NKBA).
